Post-excavation Project Assistant

Job DescripionWe are looking to increase the number of project assistants in the post-excavation team. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a range of post-excavation tasks. They should have demonstrable experience in finds and environmental processing and be reliable and flexible. There may occasionally be a need to undertake fieldwork.
Minimum Requirements
Experience with processing finds and artefacts
Experience with processing environmental samples
Knowledge of the archiving process
Ideally you will have 3-6 months experience in a post-excavation position
Ideally would have field work experience
Varied archaeological experience
Good knowledge of British archaeology
Knowledge of Health & Safety considerations pertaining to archaeology
Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
Current UK driving licence preferred

Salary: £26,002.67 to £27,489.13 Dependant on experience
