We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Carmelita Troy to Company Director!
Carmelita joined Rubicon Heritage back in 2006, working as our in-house osteoarchaeologist. Since then, she has consistently proven herself to be an invaluable member of the team, taking on increasingly senior roles and responsibilities.
“Carmelita joined the company as an Osteoarchaeologist” says Patricia Long, Company Director and long-time colleague of Carmelita, “and from the beginning she stood out as a really hard working and diligent employee. She went on to excel at managing post-excavation on many projects”.
In 2017, Carmelita's role expanded to include overseeing all aspects of Rubicon’s post-excavation services. Just three years later, she was appointed to the position of Quality & Compliance Manager for Red River Archaeology Group. In this challenging position, she excelled, successfully implementing an ISO certified Integrated Management System (IMS) for Quality (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental (ISO 14001:2015), and Health & Safety (ISO 45001:2018) Management for Rubicon.
Speaking on this Patricia Long said that “Over the years Carmelita became a very valued employee and really embraced the opportunity to diversify into quality management. Carmelita led the drive to acquire ISO certification, and it was under her guidance that Rubicon achieved this.”
Carmelita’s journey from osteoarchaeologist to Company Director is a testament to her hard work, expertise, and loyalty to RUBICON. “The company was delighted to appoint Carmelita to the board of management”, says Patricia, “she is an inspiration to all our team. She has developed her career within the company over 18 years and has risen through the ranks while at the same time juggling a busy family life”
We are incredibly excited to welcome Carmelita to the Board of Directors, and we look forward to her valuable contributions in this new leadership role.
