Post-excavation Project Assistants
Job Summary
We are looking to increase the number of project assistants in the post-excavation team. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a range of post-excavation tasks. They should have demonstrable experience in finds and environmental processing and be reliable and flexible. There may occasionally be a need to undertake fieldwork.
Salary: £26,002.67 to £27,489.13 Dependant on experience

- It would be desirable for candidates to be able to demonstrate:
- Experience with processing finds and artefacts
- Experience with processing environmental samples
- Knowledge of the archiving process
- Ideally you will have 3-6 months experience in a post-excavation position
- Ideally would have field work experience
All candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Varied archaeological experience.
- Good knowledge of British archaeology.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety considerations pertaining to archaeology
- Excellent punctuality and timekeeping.
- Current UK driving licence preferred.
