​The Discovery Programme have asked us to spread the word about the Irish Archaeology 2025 Strategy Project, which has a number of focus groups coming up of relevance to archaeological professionals.
Booking places is free although places are limited. You can book any of the focus groups that interest you by clicking on the links below. A light lunch is provided.
Research & Education Focus Group
Archaeology 2025 Focus Group on Mon 16th Nov @ 11am – 3pm. Venue – RSAI, 63 Merrion Square, D2. We welcome representatives of all archaeological educational bodies, research or educational organisations to explore the issues concerning you and to explore the future direction of archaeology within the 10 years. Places are limited so please book by clicking here.
Commercial Archaeology Focus Group
Archaeology 2025 Focus Group on Tues 17th Nov @ 11am – 3pm. Venue – RSAI, 63 Merrion Square, D2. We welcome representatives of all commercial archaeology interests to explore the issues concerning you and to explore the future direction of archaeology within the 10 years. Places are limited to please book by clicking here.
Public Archaeology Focus Group
Archaeology 2025 Focus Group on Wed 18th Nov @ 11am – 3pm. Venue – RSAI, 63 Merrion Square, D2.We welcome representatives of all public bodies who deal with the management, regulation, policy-making, planning & development or community-based archaeology interests to explore the issues concerning you and to explore the future direction of archaeology within the 10 years. Places are limited so please book by clicking here.
